life coaching

Nuey Thepyasuwan

Hello. My name is Nuey and the foundation of my coaching approach is belief in the innate strength, talents, wisdom and potential of the client. You. Depending on where you're at in life this may be difficult to believe (or not). But trust me, you are stronger than you may know yourself to be. We each bloom at our own pace, on our own timelines and in our unique ways.

Life no doubt presents us each with beautiful moments and also our fair share of challenging moments, to say the least. The better equipped we are in terms of understanding not only the external nature of the events, problems and challenges the world presents us with, but also the structure of our internal nature - its strengths and potentials but also its blind spots, conflicting drives, automatic responses to perceived threat, etc - the better able we are to work with events both external and internal, and thus produce better results.

Learning to live life more skillfully is an ongoing endeavor. I believe in part this is why we exist.... To learn and to grow into and express our full potential for the benefit of ourselves and the world.

Please connect with me on LinkedIn. I would be happy having you in my network.

Therapy vs. Coaching

Prepersonal —————> Personal ——————————> Transpersonal

The above representation is one of several human developmental models. As adults we each uniquely reside somewhere along the developmental model, and hopefully progress to the right as our lives unfold and as we more fully express our individual potentials. As a very very rough sketch, to the left is the domain of therapists who’s work is to help people heal old wounds and develop a healthy ego structure. To the right are life coaches who’s work is to help people honor their full expression of and in life. And in the middle there is a bit of overlap between the two. The middle is actually where most people reside (surprised?) and so will need work to both solidify ego but also transcend ego when the time is ready; no sooner, no later. To be whole, make whole.

Another way to view therapy vs. coaching is that of physical therapist vs. personal trainer. They both work with the body. Though obviously one is to mend injury and make functional, while the other is used to train to a higher and stronger level of physicality. And so too with therapy vs. coaching. Though now the domain is of the landscape of the mind.

I coach those who want to be coached into the next phase of their development and bring into the world what already exists, though lies dormant within. Who are you and who do you want to grow into? Who are you such that because of the existence of your very being (your thoughts, actions, habits, behaviors, your sense of “self”).... the results you desire flow out inevitably? Aligned action.
